Premiere: Sit back, relax, and enjoy a chill new single from Huey Blue called Outside

Taken from his forthcoming debut solo album, due later this year.

Hugh Tait is an Australian musician who in the past has worked with the likes of The Vernons, Layer Cake and Benjamin Brown, but 2019 finds him on the verge of release a debut album under his solo moniker, Huey Blue. The LP, titled Friday Anxiety, is due later on this year, and today we're proud as punch to unveil one of its singles, Outside. It's a luxurious few minutes that starts out big and bold, before settling into a very cruisy dub groove underpinning Trait's commanding, hazy vocal work. The difficult-to-pin-down sonic natuer of the track is a nice preview into what we can expect from the album, which will see Tait combining elements of indie, pop, rock, soul, hip hop and more, and we can't wait to hear it.

Until then though, please enjoy Outside below:
